He is currently Managed Access Program (MAP) Operations Lead for the Neuroscience franchise at Novartis overseeing the MAPs and PSDS (Post Study Drug Supplies). Previously he was Senior Clinical Project Manager at IQVIA managing phase 2 & 3 Psychiatry, Gastrointestinal, Autoimmune and Rare Diseases clinical trials. Ola studied a masters degree in Chemistry at the University of Southampton. A few years after graduating she enrolled onto a Graduate Scheme at Bombardier Transportation, which was a Rolling Stock Engineering company. Within her graduate scheme Ola worked as a graduate trainee within the services execution department for 2 years before moving on to becoming a Business Improvement Specialist for 6 months. The completion of the graduate scheme then led Ola to working as a Business Improvement Specialist with Alstom; before becoming a Project Commercial Manager. Robert John (Rob) Executive Director Strategic Planning, Chief of Staff Europe and Canada (EUCAN), MSD Human Health Rob began his CoS role in early 2021 having previously been responsible for Commercial Operations of our Oncology business across EMEAC. Focused on pan regional activities, processes and initiatives Rob works across the leadership team and markets to help ensure we can meet our goals for patients & MSD. His two previous positions in Oncology, initially for Mid-Europe (MER) and then EMEAC, centred on aligning and planning the activities needed to successfully launch KEYTRUDA in successive tumours including Go To Market planning, May/Nov FC submissions and overall leadership team governance. Before joining the region Rob worked in various roles within the MSD UK organisation including Marketing Operation & Channel strategy driving investments and capability building for our channel mix and digital customer engagement. Rob joined the industry in 2004 at AstraZeneca having graduated from the University of Bath in the UK with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology. Rob lives in Manchester UK with his wife Nicola, and young children Sophie & Alexander, outside of work Sophie & Alexander certainly keep him busy but when time permits he enjoys running and developing his amateur cooking ability! Chinedu first attended Newcastle University where she did her BSc in Biomedical Science, following this she completed her MSc in Reproductive Science and Women's Health at UCL. In 2019, Chinedu was given the opportunity to do a fully funded PhD project in Women’s health in Manchester University, investigating the acute and chronic effects of statins on vascular function in Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy, with a major focus on Pre-eclampsia. Following this, she spent some time working as an associate medical writer for a private healthcare communications company where she created oncology related scientific content for pharmaceutical companies such as MSD and Incyte. In 2021, Chinedu returned to Academia and worked part-time as a Teaching Fellow in Biosciences and Admissions Tutor at the University of Hertfordshire and part-time as a Scientist Team-Based Learning Educator creating curriculum content for the new medical school at Brunel University London. At Brunel Medical School, Chinedu now works full-time as a Lecturer (Education) in Biosciences teaching medical students. Jacqueline McCallum has over 20 years experience in commercial pharmaceutical operations. Starting out in Sales in 2001 with Pharmacia, she has enjoyed a broad career across a number of different specialities – including Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Project Management, Marketing Excellence, Strategy & Operations and Compliance. She joined MSD in 2017 and was appointed EUCAN Business Practices Lead in late 2021, looking after all markets in Europe & Canada and working with senior leadership to improve business process and minimise risk across the region. Rosdip is an accomplished project management professional with an extensive experience in healthcare, global higher education, and not-for-profits. Since moving into healthcare 2 years ago, he is currently trusted with the design and delivery of multifaceted national projects within NHS. Prior to this, he was part of a team delivering a £200m fundraising campaign to support the global network of over 47,000 stakeholders. Additionally, he has led social impact-driven projects in Lebanon, Nigeria, and the UK, supporting locally staffed organisations on sustainable initiatives. He completed his postgraduate studies in Health Data Analytics from UCL Institute of Health Informatics and has an undergraduate degree in biomedical science. At heart, Rosdip is a people person, and this accounts for much of his success in his career to date.

Alexia is an experienced applied health services researcher and epidemiologist with a background leading and designing real world data and evidence synthesis studies. She is currently the Real World Data Operations Manager for Pfizer UK, where she identifies opportunities to build strategic partnerships, develop resources for generating, monitoring and assessing impact of real world studies across medical affairs. Prior to this she held various roles in academia, NICE, Health Canada and US CDC with a focus on public health initiatives ranging from immunization coverage, infectious disease surveillance and alcohol harm reduction. She’s published extensively in various high impact journals. Alexia has a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Leeds and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Toronto. She lives with her husband and son in Yorkshire. Rodrigo Vega is a Senior Lecturer in Biology at Canterbury Christ Church University, with 7 years experience of lecturing. Rodrigo is a module lead and teach in several undergraduate modules, from Foundation Year to Levels 6 and 7 (Masters). Rodrigo also carries out scientific research mostly in the area of molecular ecology, including aspects of ecology, geographical distribution of organisms, and their evolution. Rodrigo obtained his BSc (Hons) in Biology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), an MSc in Environmental Ecology and his PhD from the University of York. Dr Phil Buckley is a Senior Lecturer in Ecology at Canterbury Christ Church University, with 16 years experience of lecturing at undergraduate level. After completing his PhD in freshwater invasive species, Phil went on to work on many aspects of freshwater, marine and coastal ecosystems, with a secondary interest in terrestrial mammals, particularly hazel dormice. Emilia is a Principal Lecturer in Chemistry at Canterbury Christ Church University, teaching modules with a chemistry content across a range of Biological and Chemical Sciences programmes. Emilia's research spans a wide range of fields, from the synthesis of fluorescence chemosensors with potential environmental and medical applications to research on fuel cells; she has published several articles in scientific journals and regularly presents her work at international conferences. Emilia is very passionate about enhancing the student learning of chemistry, and has published various academic articles and two book chapters on the subject. She has also given guest lecturers at international conferences on the effective integration of research experiences in the science undergraduate curriculum. Joe is a Senior Lecturer in Biology/Animal Science in the Life Sciences Section at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU). He carried out his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at CCCU before obtaining a postdoctoral research position at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science (SLU), where he conducted research into applied insect chemical ecology, before returning to a full time position at CCCU in 2012. Joe teaches across the science programs from Foundation Level through to MSc and PhD. Joe's primary interest is insect ecology, and how science can be used to solve problems in agriculture and biodiversity conservation. His PhD examined the interactions between male-killing endosymbiotic bacteria and biological control agents, which included research into aspects of insect chemical ecology, molecular biology, genetics and pure ecology. Recently he has been working towards the world’s first implementation of insect pheromones to monitor rare and endangered insects. Zana Wangari Kiragu, MPharm, MPH is a Kenyan pharmacist and public health professional working in the field of access to medicines. She is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Global Health at Boston University School of Public Health, where she primarily undertakes quantitative data analysis. She undertook a Masters of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2018/2019. Prior to this, she received her Bachelors and Master of Pharmacy at the University of Manchester in 2015, and practiced in industrial, clinical and retail settings in both the UK and Kenya. She is passionate about health systems strengthening, and is committed to learning.
